I was fortunate enough to get funding from the SP+ fund to do an exchange at the University of Vienna. Sadly, funding only allowed for a 3-month stay. The trip was rather educational. It taught me how to juggle a couple dozen balls at the same time. Arranging a complicated trip on a small budget, interview several researchers, advance my PhD, socialize with my Viennese colleagues, continue making videos, and enjoy the new city. Final words: fantastic bread, but Viennese need to improve their coffee.
Tuve la suerte de recibir financiamiento del fondo SP+ para realizar un intercambio en la Universidad de Viena. Lamentablemente, el financiamiento solo me permitió una estancia de tres meses. El viaje fue definitivamente pedagógico. Me enseñó a hacer malabares con por lo menos dos docenas de cosas al mismo tiempo: organizar un viaje muy complejo con un presupuesto muy pequeño, entrevistar a varios investigadores, avanzar en mi doctorado, socializar con mis colegas vieneses, seguir haciendo videos y disfrutar de la nueva ciudad. Conclusión: el pan es una maravilla, pero los vieneses realmente tienen que mejorar su café.
